Hello peeps! I am already enjoying the festive season and you will also agree that there’s something in the air of October which won’t let you get out of the celebration mode. But this is just the tip of the iceberg as I am super duper excited for the upcoming 10 days grand celebration during navratri. Being born and brought up in the eastern part of country,I cant explain in words, what excitement It holds. Its not just a festival or celebration, its like welcoming a new member in our family and enjoying each and every moment of this nostalgic celebration. The dhol- manjira and dhunchi, you need no weed to go high. And who can forget the pandal hoping where everyone comes in their best-dressed avatars…right?
And in case you haven’t sorted out what to wear this festive season, then don’t worry. Just sit back and relax! Because here I am ..presenting 5 outfits to flaunt this festive season.
Ethnic gowns are the catch of the season. They are available in every material and are perfect as festive wear. The best thing about them is that they comes in every shape and size and looks equally good on everyone.
I bought this dress from Soch, but couldn’t find it online, so posting a similar one.
The one I am wearing here has an attached skirt kind of thing, which makes it look like a skirt + kurta set that too with the comfort of a dress.
Generally every fashion keeps on coming back but sharara is something which gets totally extinct and then comes back with a bang. So, currently its back in the fashion and you can try flaunting them with a long as well as short kurta.
Ethnic skirts specially something in silk or brocade can add the much needed oomph to your look. And if you want to look like pure royalty then go for a benarasi skirt. By the way who can forget the jaipuri or kachhi style skirt if you are planning to go for a Dandiya night. These skirts can be paired with anything right from a kurta, lehenga blouse, ethnic top, tee, or even a simple shirt with appropriate accessories.
4. Flared Plazzos:
If you are not too comfortable wearing skirts then you can opt for flared palazzos too for a skirt- like look. Just like skirts they are also available in various fabrics and goes well with literally anything.
How can a Festive outfit wardrobe look complete without a saree. But if you are someone like me who loves wearing saree to the core but don’t feels comfortable in it then these stitched sarees are there for rescue. They look super chic and glamorous without even letting you google about ” how to drape a saree?”
